Weber - Side 4

AMERICAN BBQ CULTURE SINCE 1952 An icon is born In 1952 George Stephen Sr. set out to build a grill that would protect his precious steaks from the wind and possible downpours – while sealing a tasty smoked flavor. At the Weber Brothers Metal Works where he was employed he ingeniously cut a metal buoy in half and fashioned a dome shaped grill with a rounded lid – and the classic original Weber® kettle was born. The Weber® kettle didn’t look like any other grill at that time and at first George’s friends kidded him about his strange looking contraption and the concept of covered grilling. But after they tasted how well the Weber® cooked, they stopped laughing. George Stephen’s invention “revolutionized” the American barbecue and today the Weber® kettle is as much an American icon as Mom’s apple pie. ‫جورج ستيفن األب‬ George Stephen Sr. Made in USA since 1952
